Youssef Nabil is part of Remember Me, a major group exhibition at Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection, curated by Matthieu Humery with Lola Regard.
Marking the bicentenary of photography's invention, Remember Me brings together around 700 works by more than 70 artists from the Pinault Collection, the first time its photography holdings have been shown on this scale. The title comes from a work by Barbara Kruger, and the exhibition sets various genres and eras in dialogue, from Gustave Le Gray and Julia Margaret Cameron to Cindy Sherman and Wolfgang Tillmans. Running through it is photography's bond with memory: its power to hold a fleeting moment and keep a face from being forgotten.
