Pecha Kucha is back for its seventh night in the city. Organized by traffic, S*uce and The Third Line, Pecha Kucha Night Dubai first made its mark on the art scene in 2008 providing a place for locally based talent and has since grown to one of the largest gatherings for a mixed media arts event in the region. The seventh night will host 11 selected presenters from various artistic, inventive and fascinating fields including an international news journalist, a comedian, a humanitarian on a mission, a student lead radio station and an urban design group.
Presenter Profiles Installation artist Rebecca Rendell works with a variety of found objects and her current project revolves around themes of structure, tension, weight and suspension. She will demonstrate a live audience-interactive performance giving the audience a first-hand view of her work process. Freshly Laced (FL) are a forward-thinking group of hip hop artists based in the U.A.E. that push for personal and communal interactions through the musical and creative diversity of hip hop.
